Eicher Motors has begun manufacturing of Royal Enfield bullet bikes at another site in Vallam Vadagal in Tamil Nadu. Situated close Chennai, this is the bullet producer’s third manufacturing site.

The land for the new site was obtained in October 2014, and it took 15 months for the site to wind up noticeably utilitarian. The new site is spread more than 50 sections of land and has a limit of delivering three lakh bikes for every annum. The bullets delivered here will be sold in the local market and also exported to the brand’s global markets.

In the last financial year, Royal Enfield made sales of 6.67 lakh bikes, with their two manufacturing sites in Oragadam, Tamil Nadu, running at the full limit. With the expansion of the new site, Royal Enfield is taking a gander at taking off 8.25 lakh bullets in the current financial year.

The organization has reserved a venture of Rs 800 crore towards limit extension and improvement of new items and stages. The fresh out of the box new bullet, in view of a parallel-twin stage, is relied upon to be disclosed for the current year.
